Pre-Discharge Debtor Education
The Bankruptcy Pre-Discharge Briefing meets the requirements for the bankruptcy debtor education – the final certificate in the bankruptcy process. This course is designed to help you understand that you can recover from bankruptcy. You will learn the basics of personal financial management; learn how to set up a budget and how to make it work for your family.
Read More About it! § 109(h) of the Bankruptcy Code requires all individual debtors who file for bankruptcy relief must receive a briefing that outlines the available opportunities for credit counseling and provides assistance in performing a budget analysis. In addition, after filing a bankruptcy case, an individual debtor generally must complete a financial management instructional course before he or she can receive a discharge.
