We will Listen to You
At CCCS of Central Oklahoma, we have caring, non-judgmental, professionally certified counselors ready to talk to you.
All counseling is free with absolutely no pressure or obligation. If you’d like to meet with one of our counselors we have 12 offices statewide. If you prefer the convenience of telephone counseling, we have counselors available for immediate Rapid Response counseling during business hours or by appointment. We also offer counseling via mail or the internet.
We realize that many factors combine to cause financial difficulty. We know that every client is different. Therefore we tailor each counseling session to meet your individual needs. In a typical session, we review your income, living expenses and debt. We examine each financial situation and make targeted recommendations to help every client meet their financial goals.
For clients who just need a little guidance, we offer budgeting sessions to share our expert money management tips to keep you on track. For those who may be facing more serious financial distress, we offer a low-cost Debt Management Plan (DMP). Clients who choose the DMP option send us one payment per month and we disburse that money to the creditors. In exchange for making regular payments each month, CCCS is usually able to negotiate lower interest rates and reduced payments with each creditor, have late and over-limit fees waived, and have accounts brought current. For those facing housing issues, such as delinquent mortgages, we offer special housing counseling.
